This, along with Without A Sound [2011 Demo], are the two earliest complete attempts to write shoegaze music. There was one prior to this called “Waiting”, however that was only a verse and a pre-chorus (the pre-chorus was eventually recycled into “Dead Air”). These two demos were recorded using a Zoom H4 and the stems transferred into Logic to mix. There was little-to-no processing on the tracks; some reverb on the vocals, but that’s about it. In hindsight, these two versions sound better than what appeared on Telltale, to me.
